help?!

anyone seen my camera? i went to the zoo on friday with my sister tiffany and it wasn't in my bag then. i can't remember the last time i took a picture. i have been kinda on a crazy-take-a-million-pictures-a-day kick. i have cute pictures of my boys in prescott during spring break and haven't seen it since!! maybe i left it there!! i hope not!! anyway, that's why i haven't posted the rest of spring break pictures!! i hope i find it soon or it'll be no more pics for the saragers for a while!!! wow, that's a lot of exclamations. wish me luck.

we went to hole in the rock on monday with my sisters and their kids. my parents also came. it was awesome.

yeah...i don't take very good pictures. this is supposed to be jonathan and carson, but you can barely see them. yes, my 4 year old son hiked to the top of the hole with my husband like spiderman. i am ashamed i was afraid.

you seriously have to go to this website!! you will be dying! it's a website of pictures taken of signs, menus, t shirts, etc. of words or phrases in very poorly translated english from some asian countries. if you have a few minutes, scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on the previous weeks posts. they are hilarious!! carson kept asking why i was laughing so hard at the screen!! i went as far back as christmas 2008, i couldn't read anymore! i had to post it!! please, after you go there, come back here and tell which was your favorite! one of mine is the "lee jeans, a brand for the whore family" there are funnier ones, but i was dying!! check it out here.

my husband is so awesome!! on wednesday, when i went to make this cake i had such a crazy hard time. it took me about two hours just to color the fondant tiffany blue!! when i went to roll it out, i was already way too beat to put all my muscle into it. i totally quit and came home so discouraged. my husband said he would come help me on thursday. so thursday rolled in and i was totally sick!! i don't know if it was stress, but i was weak and sick to my stomach all day. so, on friday, he rolled it out covered all the tiers and helped me put the silver pearls on!! i honestly could not have done it without him!! to view more pictures of the cake, click here

today, carson and i stayed at my sister's house after preschool. mckay, jaden and carson wanted to fill the empty sandbox with water and go swimming. we let them do it thinking (cause we're the parents and we totally know everything) that they would get cold in .2 seconds and would want to get out. so, we helped them into swim suits, and they got the slide from the backyard and got the hose to have a "water slide". long story short, they ended up swimming and running around for about an hour!! they were loving it!! i finally had to force carson to put his clothes back on! ( i had tons of stuff to do at my parents house ) they did get cold once and decided to wrap up in the towels tiff provided. then, out of the blue, carson says, "run for your lives!! the monster is coming!!" they then proceeded to bolt away from me and the front yard and ran down the street with towels trailing behind. i called after them to come back, but then decided to join in the fun. i'm sure the residents of shapinsay street thought i was a crazy woman trying to capture these poor swim suited children!! i was running up the street roaring!! i have to admit, i was having tons of fun!! they eventually came back when the picnic was announced. anyway, it was an awesome day and so much fun!! i love seeing our children play and develop relationships and wonderful, adventure-filled, imaginative memories!!

fancy nancy is my name, making cakes is my game!!

my niece is turning 5 and having a fancy nancy party. if you have all boys for children, like me, you might say, "fancy who?" that's exactly what i said when my sister asked me to make her fancy nancy cake. after searching on the web for two seconds, i was in love with nancy, and everything that makes her fancy! we found two cakes on the web that we loved and combined them to make one *fancy* birthday cake! i spent the afternoon at my parents house making the cake. it was so much fun!! i wish there was a fancy nancy song, because you all know i would totally be singing it, in harmony, no doubt. anyway, here is the picture of the cake. the party is tomorrow and all the girls are dressing up. tiff asked me to go to help with the party. you better believe i will be a.f.a.p. (as fancy as possible.) i don't have anything fancy, but i'll just throw on my old bridesmaid dress and wear a crown!!
carson said more funny things today, as usual. we were just leaving for preschool and i was singing a silly song to him. i glanced back at him and of course, he was picking his nose. i said, "i hope you're not picking your boogies and eating them." he said, " of course not! i helping my mustache grow in. see." i looked back and he was "picking" at his mustache area. i was dying.
then at preschool, we were gluing and i was using a new glue that tiff got. it's clear instead of white. apparently carson had gotten it all over his hands. from the corner of my eye i saw him look at his hands then wipe them on his shirt. the other kids at his table were all nervous for him and "oh-ing", like he's going to be in trouble. then he said, "guys, good thing it's clear glue and my shirt is white. that's convenient." i was totally laughing. these might not sound so funny just reading them, but his tone of voice is hilarious. he doesn't sound like a four year old. he's so matter-of-fact. here is a picture of him dead-asleep in the car when we got home about 15 minutes ago. he's totally bent over sideways, poor guy. enjoy!

fancy nancy loves her sunglasses, tea sets and ballet slippers, butterflies and flowers. on top of the cake is another cake in the shape of a pillow fully equipped with tassels. there is a fondant tea set on the right side of the pillow and ballet slippers on the left, but you can't see them from this angle. sunglasses on the bottom next to some feathers and flowers. on top of the pillow cake is a crown, behind that are feathers, flowers and butterflies. there are bits of sparkle, also hard to see in the picture. hopefully tomorrow i will get a better picture.

ummm... yeah...ouch. and falling asleep right in the middle of eating frosted shredded wheat too.

carson and i homemade slurpees on tuesday. it was super fun!! i also found the timer on the camera that we've had for 4 years. better late than never!
